• Serves as the registrar of deeds and custodian of records
• Serves as secretary to various boards, posting agendas and recording the proceedings
• Reviews all claims, prepares warrants for payment, and keeps financial ledger
• Maintains a "judgment docket" where orders from the district court on real property are entered
• Maintains a list of fees that can be charged for copying documents which are classified as "open records"

  Muskogee County Clerk, Polly Irving, has added a new feature in the Land Records Office. Muskogee residents can now monitor their property for any documents filed in Muskogee County. This means property owners can be notified if/when any documents are filed against their property or against their name, giving property owners greater security.
